James M. Breen, born December 2, 1934, to Byron Hays Breen and Clara Marie Schieltz, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024, at age 89. Jim married Rosline “Rosie” (Puckett) Breen on August 12, 1973, and they enjoyed 51 years together. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Glaser, and daughter Deb Tennery.
Jim is survived by his wife, Rosie Breen, his children Mike Breen, Lisa Breen, Mike Ziegler and his wife Sally, Tami Geuy and her husband Dale, and Pam Ziegler. His sisters Connie and her husband Bruce Pfolsgrof and Betty Buck, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Jim retired from TRW Globe in Dayton, Ohio as well as serving as Transportation Director at Sidney City Schools following his retirement from TRW Globe. Jim served his country in the United States Air Force. Jim and Rosie were avid Cleveland Browns fans and enjoyed watching games, golfing and fishing.
Jim was residing at Dorothy Love over the past few years. The loving care, kindness and friendship of the staff was so freely given to both Jim and Rosie and the family is most appreciative. Jim also received excellent care from the staff at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County. Their kindness and compassion have made such an impact on our family and is greatly appreciated.
